The process
From first conversation to completion.
Six clear steps, explained by real people. Understand how we market your property, how the auction works and what happens afterwards.
- 01
Step 01
Talk to us and agree your reserve
Tell us about your property and your circumstances. We discuss likely buyer demand, fees, the reserve price and whether auction is suitable.
- 02
Step 02
Prepare and launch the marketing
We help organise the property details, images, access arrangements and necessary legal information. The property is promoted to prospective buyers.
- 03
Step 03
The auction period
Qualified buyers review the information, ask questions, view where possible and submit bids during the agreed auction window, often ten days for suitable properties.
- 04
Step 04
A legally binding agreement
The contractual stage depends on the auction method and the terms agreed. We explain when legal commitment arises and the documents involved before you proceed.
- 05
Step 05
Your solicitor completes the sale
Conveyancers handle the legal work and the agreed completion date. Auction length and legal completion timescale are not the same thing.
- 06
Step 06
Receive your sale proceeds
After completion, your solicitor settles the agreed costs and transfers the remaining funds to you. We remain available to support communication throughout.
